My Story

I (Karen) am a fifth generation farmer from Eustis, Nebraska. I went to college for ag business graduating with my associates degree. I knew from the start I wanted to come home and farm along side my dad. I bought my first set of livestock in 2015. Then first piece of farm ground in 2019.

Little did I know how little farming actually paid. So I set out to grow and do more for the farm, a passion that was in my blood. The only way I knew how to do this was the internet, by generating an additional stream of income and working on the farm full time. 

I created a social media presence modeling in ag and share the things I do day to day. People connected with my content and the things going on at the farm. Enough so that I was able to create a second income. With that extra income I expanded into more rental homes, both short term and long term rentals in rural areas.

No stopping me, I recently invested in a whiskey brand of my own called Field to Flasks. Alcohol comes from agriculture; I thought what better way to add to a diversified farm than making my own brand of whiskey.

My love for agriculture never stops. I thought it would be fun to get some chickens and am now selling direct to consumer sharing my passion of foods from the farm. I recently am expanding to selling beef direct to the community as well.
